On the morning of Jan.10., Sino-foreign cooperative education project of Southwest Jiaotong University started completely. Fu Haiyin ,the executive Vice-president of International Education College , Liu Jianfeng, the branch Deputy Director Mao Chanquan, the dean of College of Life Sciences and Engineering.Tian Hong,the publicity chief of the Propaganda Department.Chen Guang,the dean of the Public Administration College,.Liu Bin,the party secretary .Zheng Jianping, the deputy secretary.Lei Xuchuan, the Assistant Dean.Tang Zhihong, the economic Dean and some teachers participated in the project planning publicity seminar.
“Southwest Jiaotong University China-US cooperative education project " ,Sino-foreign cooperative education project,is firstly approved by the Ministry of Education.The sino-foreign cooperative education program reflects the developing direction of undergraduates’ teaching in the future. School’s leadership attaches great importance to start gathering all the resources and efforts to promote the implementation of the project , and strive to build the country and the world -renowned Chinese-foreign cooperative education school known brands . Firstly,dean Chen introduced all the leaders participating in the conference , talking about the urgency and importance of this project promotion.Then,Tang Zhihong,the Associate Professor who is also the economic Institute of Public Administration College,gave more detailed description of the sino-cooperative education about the undergraduate promotion program . Participants went along to the location and publicity target of the program , meanwhile,they discussed and exchanged ideas focusing on the start of this project , enrollment and curriculum issues.
Dean of International Education College , executive vice-president Fu talked about that the current Sino-foreign cooperative education colleges and universities are in the exploration stage project , hoped that the project would work creatively enough to break through the limitations of thinking competitive colleges in the region,standing of highly prospective and thinking both national and global, establishing a "harmonious coexistence, to lead the future " propaganda philosophy. Propaganda Department chief Tian refer to that it is necessary to identify the propaganda point of intervention from the characteristic of news . Mao Chanquan gave suggestions about the cooperation and exchanges , professional docking and other details of the school. Liu Jianfeng and Lei Xuchuan paid special attention to the publicity combined with students, parents concern, accurately grasp the point of propaganda value of this project , vulgar avoid flicker , and the advocacy must have height and depth .
Everybody participating in the conference open wide their thinking,large to the project's overall development plan , small to every aspect of the project,all the specific propaganda are under careful scrutiny . Finally they reached a consensus: to determine the start of the project in time nodes, each department to prepare the work in chronological sections , in order to protect the item comprehensively, systematically and steadily carry out .
